Terms of use

This site

Kynigma is a design and engineering studio operated by Ebunoluwa Omiwole and Ogundele Oluwadamilare, based in Lagos, Nigeria. You are welcome to read, share, and link to anything here.

Using it reasonably

Read it, share it, link to it, quote it with credit. What we ask you not to do is the obvious short list: don’t try to break into it, scrape it wholesale, overload it, copy it as your own site, or use the enquiry form to send unsolicited pitches, malware, or anything unlawful. If you do, we will block you and, where it matters, report it.

Prices shown here are starting points

The figures on the pricing section are indicative minimums to help you judge whether we are in your range. They are not quotes and not an offer. A price becomes real only when it is written into a proposal for your specific project, after we have discussed scope.

How work is actually agreed

Every project runs under a written agreement covering scope, deliverables, timeline, fees, payment schedule, revisions, and who owns what on completion. Nothing on this website creates an engagement, a commitment, or a deadline. Sending an enquiry does not oblige either of us to anything.

Unless your agreement says otherwise: fees are fixed for the agreed scope rather than hourly, work starts on receipt of the deposit, and third-party platform subscriptions (Wix, Squarespace, WordPress, Shopify, hosting, domains) are billed to you directly by those providers.

Client work shown here

The projects in the work section were built for real clients and are shown as portfolio examples. All client brands, logos, product names, and photography belong to their respective owners, and appear here to identify the work — not to imply those companies endorse or sponsor Kynigma. Links to live client sites are provided for reference; we are not responsible for their current content.

If you own one of these brands and would rather not be listed, tell us and we will remove it.

Our own material

The design, code, copy, and the Kynigma name and mark on this site are ours. Please don’t reproduce the site as your own; quoting or referencing it with credit is fine.

No warranty on the website itself

This site is provided as it is. We keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it is error-free or continuously online, and we are not liable for losses arising from using it. Nothing here is professional advice for your particular situation — that is what a conversation is for.

To the extent the law allows, our liability for anything arising out of this website is limited to nil, since you pay nothing to read it. Liability for work we are actually engaged to do is dealt with in that project’s agreement, not here. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, or for anything that cannot lawfully be limited.

Links away from here

Where we link to another site — a client’s live build, a provider’s privacy policy, our own profiles elsewhere — we do not control what it says or does today. A link is a pointer, not a recommendation, and what happens once you follow it is between you and that site.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page as the studio changes. The version that applies to you is the one published when you use the site, and the date at the top tells you when it last moved. A signed project agreement is never altered by an edit to this page.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Nigeria, and the courts of Nigeria have jurisdiction over any dispute about this website. Terms for a specific engagement are set in that engagement’s own agreement, which takes precedence over this page.

If any part of this page turns out to be unenforceable, the rest of it still stands.
