What we collect, and what we don’t
Last updated 7 August 2026
Kynigma is a two-person studio based in Lagos, Nigeria, run by Ebunoluwa Omiwole and Ogundele Oluwadamilare. This page describes exactly what happens to information you give us through this website. It is short because the site does very little.
What you give us
The only place this site collects personal information is the enquiry form. When you submit it, we receive what you typed: your name, your email address, which of our services you ticked, and your description of the project. That is the whole list — the form does not ask for anything else, and the site collects nothing about you anywhere else.
We use it for one purpose — to read your enquiry and reply to it. We do not sell it, rent it, trade it, or add you to a mailing list. We will not send you anything you did not ask for.
Who else sees it
Your submission is delivered to our inbox by Web3Forms, an email delivery service, and it then sits in our email account. Those two providers process it on our behalf. Nobody else receives it.
If you contact us on WhatsApp instead, that conversation is handled by WhatsApp under their own privacy terms.
Why we are allowed to hold it
You sent us an enquiry and asked for a reply, so we handle your details to answer you and, if it goes further, to prepare a proposal. In data protection terms that is your consent together with our legitimate interest in responding to people who approach the studio. There is no other basis, because there is no other use.
Giving us the information is entirely your choice. The consequence of not giving it is simply that we have no way to reply.
Where it goes
We are in Nigeria, and our email and delivery providers operate servers elsewhere, including in the United States and the European Union. So your enquiry will be stored outside your own country, and quite possibly outside ours. We choose established providers that contract to protect it, but you should know it crosses borders before you press send.
Analytics, and the absence of cookies
This site uses Vercel Web Analytics to count page views. It is aggregated and cookieless: it does not set tracking cookies, does not build a profile of you, and does not follow you to other websites. That is why you were not shown a cookie banner — there is nothing to consent to.
We do not use advertising trackers, social pixels, session recording, or fingerprinting.
How long we keep it
Enquiries stay in our email for as long as the conversation is useful — typically no more than two years, and less if nothing comes of it. Ask us and we will delete yours sooner.
Your rights
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, and we will do so. If you are in the UK, EU, or another region with data protection law, those rights are yours by statute; we would honour them regardless.
Because your enquiry is only ever stored in an inbox and an email provider, a deletion request is quick to carry out.
If you think we have handled your information badly, tell us first — we would rather fix it than argue about it. You also have the right to complain to a regulator: in Nigeria that is the Nigeria Data Protection Commission, and in the UK or EU it is your national data protection authority.
Children
This is a business site aimed at people commissioning work. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If a child has sent us something through the form, tell us and we will delete it.
Reaching us
For anything on this page — a question, a correction, a deletion request — message us on WhatsApp. We reply within one business day.
Changes
If this changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. We will not quietly start collecting more than is described here.
